Über den Wolken (Above the clouds) - Hans Wachsmann and Wolfgang Lohr’s next approach to swing up a classic. This time it’s not a hit from the Swing Era, but in comparison a quiet modern one, written and first performed by the famous German singer and songwriter Reinhard Mey. Published in 1974 and since then considered to be one of the best German songs of all time.
